BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating the Twin-Cities’ fourth armed robbery in eight days. The latest hold-up happened about 6:20 Saturday evening at JB Hawks Discount Tobacco and Vape at 1100 E. Oakland Ave.

Police said a man dressed in black displayed a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not hurt, and there have been no arrests.

Of the three robberies that happened at local businesses last weekend, police said they solved one of the crimes with the arrests of two people for a stick-up at Casey’s General Store on Fox Creek Road in southwest Bloomington.

Anyone with information about the robbery at JB Hawks is asked to call Bloomington Police or McLean County Crime Stoppers.
