W. Warren Frederick, 88, Bloomington and formerly of Fairbury, died at 2:40 pm Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Heritage Health, Bloomington.
Warren’s graveside service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Chenoa Twp. Cemetery, Chenoa with Fr. Carl LoPresti officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be given to the charity of their choice.
Warren was born January 23, 1930 in Chenoa, IL the son of William Ray and Bernadine Ruth Phillips Frederick. He married JoAnn Nancy Page on February 10, 1951 in Morris, IL. She preceded him in death on July 20, 1994.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Randy) Raper, Joan McDonald, both of Bloomington, Susan (Roderick) Koehler, Marshfield, WI, five grandchildren, Alannah Koehler, Aislinn (Austin Held) Koehler, Scott (Traci) Raper, Christie (Tim) Trunnell, and Alexander (Melissa) Raper, four great grandchildren, Lexy Roberts, Natalie Raper, Dax Raper and Kylie Trunnell, and one sister, Bernita Hannie, Hoopston, IL.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Victoria Frederick.
Warren was a graduate of Chenoa High School and attended Illinois Wesleyan University. He served in the United States Army obtaining the rank of sergeant. After the service he farmed in the Fairbury and Chenoa area.
Warren’s hobbies included flying his Cessna Skyhawk, snow skiing, hunting and fishing.
