Kansas woman dead after rollover crash on I-155

LINCOLN – State police report a woman from Shawnee, Kansas died after her mini-van rolled on Interstate 155 Tuesday morning north of Lincoln.

District 9 troopers said the woman was driving northbound about three miles south of Route 136 after 7:30 a.m. when the van skidded through the median and rolled several times before coming to rest in the right southbound lane.

The 62-year-old woman was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say she was not wearing a seat belt.

State police and the Logan County coroner’s office are investigating.
