Coroner identifies two drivers in fatal accident near Kenney

KENNEY – Two drivers killed in an accident near Kenney early Monday morning have been identified.

DeWitt County Coroner Randy Rice identified the drivers as Marion Kathleen Geary, 54, of Williamsville, and Jeremy Bozarth, 19, of Riverton.

Geary was travelling westbound on Route 54 and Bozarth was heading eastbound, according to Rice.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at 1:25 a.m. Rice said autopsies will be performed.

Illinois State Police, the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner continue to investigate the accident.
