BLOOMINGTON – Donna Joyce Lindelof, 90, of the Bickford House in Bloomington, formerly of Sibley, passed away at 7:18 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington with Rev. Chuck Bahn officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Sibley. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomington.
Donna was born July 28, 1928 in Windsor, the daughter of L. Harlan and Lucille Edwards Yunker. She married Lester W. “Ez” Lindelof on April 3, 1948 in Dekalb. He died on June 17, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Patti Jo (Don) Harms of Erie, CO and Diane (Jeff) Jeakins of Normal; two grandchildren, Josh (Sonya) Harms and Jessica (Josh) Gee; four great grandchildren, Harrison and Lily Harms and Davin Jeakins and Miles Gee; five siblings, Jerry Yunker, Clara (Wally) G’Fellers, Larry Yunker, Linda Butler and Darlene (Rich) Boyles.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Tom Yunker.
Donna worked for Central Soya in Gibson City for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the American Legion Auxiliary.
