BLOOMINGTON – Authorities said James Snow was in handcuffs earlier this week when he escaped, but was not in handcuffs when police arrested him Thursday on Standish Drive in Bloomington.
Snow, 29, escaped from the Illinois Department of Corrections Tuesday morning in the area of Cardinal Ridge trailer park. He was handcuffed and without shoes.
The IDOC was taking Snow into custody for an active warrant.
Snow was released from jail April 10.
His prior record in McLean County includes residential burglary, drug charges, and escape of an officer in 2013.
