BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has been identified as the driver of a fatal motorcycle accident that happened on Thursday afternoon.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder identified Joshua Rash, 45, of Bloomington, died due to multiple blunt injuries due to a motorcycle striking a fixed object.
Normal Police Chief Rick Bleichner says the fatal crash happened on Pipeline Road, just north of I-55.
Witness reports indicate the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Pipeline Road when it left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Normal Police Department.
