BPD: ‘suspect demanded money and was armed with a knife’ in armed robbery

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police is asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery.

BPD said around 9:45 Tuesday night; officers responded to a convenience store in the 300 block of W. Market St. for an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim. The victim was an adult male employee of the story. The victim stated the suspect demanded money and was armed with a knife. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and property.

No suspect information is available, and no one was injured during the incident.
