BPD: Man wanted for criminal sexual abuse

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a criminal sexual abuse case.

On Tuesday, a man was in the area of Front and Center and Front and Madison in downtown Bloomington, when around 12:15 p.m., the suspect was alleged to have committed criminal sexual abuse.

The victim was under 17 years of age.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, with facial hair on his chin. The suspect was described as wearing a red lanyard around his neck, possibly with a key on it.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective Fanelli at 309-434-2457.
