NORMAL – Normal police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted for allegedly attacking a woman on the Constitution Trail.
Police were called at 6:30 a.m. Saturday to the trail near the Connie Links Amphitheatre. A woman reported that she was jogging when she was pushed to the ground by an unknown male suspect.
The victim told police the suspect pulled on her shirt and told her to be quiet or he would harm her with a knife. The victim didn’t see a knife and screamed which scared the suspect away. Police said the woman suffered minor injuries.
