BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police have made an arrest in connection to recent shootings that injured two juveniles.
Darren Gordon, 26, of Normal was taken into custody Wednesday by BPD and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. BPD said Gordon was responsible for shootings that happened last Thursday in the 1900 block of Peach Street and Friday in the 400 block of North Lee Street. Two boys were shot in the incidents and both suffered non-life threatening injuries
Gordon faces several charges including unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a firearm. His bond has been set at $500,000, meaning he has to post $50,000.
Also arrested was Deliliah Dorsey, 23, of Normal. Dorsey faces a charge of aiding a fugitive. Her bond will be set by a judge.
Both are being held in the McLean County jail.
