BPD: Man arrested for stabbing roommate

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has been arrested for stabbing his roommate.

Xavier Brown, 20, was taken into custody by Bloomington police Tuesday without incident and charged with aggravated domestic battery.

Officers were called Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. to Saint Joseph Medical Center to speak with a stabbing victim. Authorities said the victim reported that Brown stabbed him after an argument inside their home in the 900 block of Witten Woods Drive. Police said the victim had severe, but non-life threatening injuries.

Brown was taken to the McLean County jail. His bond has been set at $150,000.
