ATLANTA – The Logan County Coroner’s office said a Bloomington man died over the weekend while working on his property in rural Atlanta.
Cory Casey, 38, suffered puncture wounds to his chest and was pronounced dead Saturday around 8:30 p.m., according to Coroner Robert Thomas. Thomas said it appears Casey was working outside when a steel fence post snapped and stabbed him.
The Logan County Sheriff’s office and coroner’s office are still investigating the accident.
