BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington City Manager Tim Gleason will announce his selection for the city’s next police chief Wednesday morning during a press conference at City Hall.
The two finalists are Assistant Bloomington Police Chief Dan Donath and Parkland College Chief William Colbrook.
Donath has held many jobs at BPD, including chief of operations and leading the office of professional standards. Colbrook is a retired State Police Captain. He started his career as an officer in Pontiac.
Gleason has conducted a national search since Chief Clay Wheeler’s retirement in June.
Gleason’s press conference starts at 11:15 a.m.
