BLOOMINGTON – A house fire in Bloomington Township Tuesday morning caused heavy smoke damage to the second floor.
Crews were called around 10 a.m. to 9402 Fond Du Lac Drive, about two miles east of of U.S. 51.
Bloomington Township Fire Protection District Chief Tom Willan said the blaze started in the master bedroom. The lower level of the home sustained minimal smoke damage. Nobody was injured.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the blaze. Downs, Heyworth, and Randolph fire crews assisted at the scene.
