PEORIA – A rural Danvers man has been named president of OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital.
Mike Wells will take over the position after most recently serving as vice president.
“I’m honored to serve alongside our talented, compassionate team of leaders and caregivers at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois, some of whom founded and built the hospital into the destination center it is today. We have a responsibility to provide the highest level of care for children from across Illinois and beyond,” said Wells in a news release.
Wells joined OSF in 2005. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University.
