Bloomington man arrested for possession of gun, drugs

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police arrested a man earlier this week after finding a gun and drugs during a traffic stop.

George Harris, 38, faces multiple charges, including DUI and possession of a controlled substance.

Police stopped Harris Sunday at 12:59 a.m. near the area of W. Market St. and N. Western Ave. During the stop, officers located a gun, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Harris was taken to the McLean County jail.
