NORMAL – A local organization is getting ready for a used book sale to promote literacy.
Books To Benefit, an organization that supports local literacy programs, will hold the book sale Nov. 7-10 at the Crossroads Center, 360 Wylie Drive, in Normal.
“We want to instill in people the love of reading,” said Books To Benefit member Mary Ryder. “We have a reading population here in Bloomington-Normal, but beyond that we are concerned about literacy.”

Organization member Ginny Schmult said the books range in pricing, with paperbacks around $.50 and hardbacks are normally $2.
