NPD: Arrests made in Verizon store hold up

NORMAL – Two people have been arrested for an armed robbery Tuesday night in Normal.

Aminah Lewis, 27 of Bloomington, and Terrance Walls, 29, of Carlock were arrested Wednesday during a search warrant in Bloomington, according to Normal Police.  Both are connected to the hold up at the Verizon Digital Store in the 1700 block of Bradford Lane, in north Normal.

Lewis and Walls face felony charges, including theft of property over $300. Both are being held in the McLean County jail.

Normal Police were called Tuesday around 8 p.m. and said the store was robbed at gunpoint. Officers said nobody was hurt and the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and some IPhones.
