NORMAL – Illinois State University’s winter commencement will be held in two ceremonies Saturday at Redbird Arena.
The first ceremony at 9 a.m. will include graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and Mennonite College of Nursing. The second ceremony at 1 p.m. will include graduates from the College of Applied Science and Technology, College of Business, and the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts.
ISU will award approximately 1,100 baccalaureate degrees and more than 205 graduate degrees, according to a news release. There are 1,060 students (undergraduate and graduate) scheduled to participate in the winter ceremonies.
The doors will open one hour before the start of the ceremony
Also, due to a large number of guests attending commencement, traffic is congested on the roads leading to and around Redbird Arena and may lead to delays.
Those unable to attend winter commencement will be able to watch the morning and afternoon ceremonies live on their computer or mobile device.
