Coroner identifies three victims in Cullom triple homicide

CULLOM – Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson has identified the three victims of a triple homicide on Christmas in Cullom.

Norman Walker, 51, Shirley Brewer, 48, and Christian Brewer, 27, were the three victims, according to a news release.

Clifford Brewer, 53, of Cullom, is accused of killing the three people, according to Illinois State Police.  Brewer is being held in the Livingston County jail and is due in court Friday at 9 a.m.  Brewer faces three counts of first degree murder.

Our news partner Heart of Illinois-ABC reports that Watson confirmed Shirley Brewer was Clifford Brewer’s wife while Christian Brewer was the 53-year-old’s son.

The incident happened Dec. 25 at 416 East Jackson Street.

The coroner’s office, State Police, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the incident.
