BPD probing two commercial burglaries

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in two commercial burglaries.

The break-ins happened earlier this month in the 1200 hundred block of Towanda Avenue and the 600 block of South Center Street, according to BPD.

Authorities are describing the suspect as a tall black man, 25 to 30 years of age, with a full beard. Officers said the man was seen driving a burnt orange Dodge Journey.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact Bloomington Police at 309-434-2457.  If you would like to remain anonymous please call McLean County Crime Stoppers at 309-828-1111. If your call leads to the arrest and indictment of a suspect, you may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
