GOODFIELD – Road work will begin this week on a portion of Interstate 74 in Woodford County.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says work to prepare eastbound I-74 between roughly Goodfield and Carlock (exit 112 to 120) begins Wednesday. The work will require lane closures, according to IDOT.
IDOT says the striping, signing and barrier wall placement is expected to last about two weeks, at which time two-way traffic in the westbound lanes will begin.
