Red Cross Evening of Stars postponed

BLOOMINGTON – The American Red Cross annual Evening of Stars fundraiser that was scheduled for April 29 in Uptown Normal has been postponed due to the coronavirus.

“We are working with Trace Adkins representatives to reschedule Evening of Stars,” said Lyn Hruska, Regional CEO of the American Red Cross. “We are grateful to the Marriott for their help in rescheduling the event and we look forward to announcing a new event date soon.”

Funds raised from the Evening of Stars benefit help the Red Cross provide critical services in the Twin-Cities. That includes helping people impacted by disasters, collecting lifesaving blood, and training people in skills like CPR and First Aid.

The Red Cross says tickets will be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend on the new date, your ticket will be refunded.
