BLOOMINGTON – Some local groups have created a new website that will serve as a resource for individuals, businesses, and organizations in McLean County during the coronavirus pandemic.
The website, BNPrepared.org, will serve as a portal addressing the concerns of the community, according to the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council and Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Chamber President and CEO Charlie Moore says there’s so much information with things changing hourly.
“There is so much information and so much misinformation about COVID-19, so we wanted to create this website to drive you to information that is relevant to what your concerns, ideas, or questions might be,” Moore said.
“This portal will help connect businesses and residents with the most up-to-date information about how the crisis is impacting our local community and ways we can come together to support each other,” said Carlo Robustelli, Chair of the Bloomington-Normal Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The site has resources to help you learn more about precautions you can take, what to do if you get sick, and what you can do if you are an employer or employee. You can access the website here.
