ISU addresses ‘disruptive and hateful’ comments during online classes

NORMAL – Illinois State University is addressing “disruptive, bigoted, and hateful” comments that have been typed and spoken during online classes.

ISU says reports are circulating about these types of incidents being performed by persons not affiliated with the university at institutions across the country.

ISU says this despicable behavior runs counter to the core values of the university.  The school says it is working to provide guidance and systems to help prevent future incidents.

People should contact the Dean of Students Office at [email protected] or 309-438-2008 to report such incidents.
