MCHD announces two new coronavirus cases, IDPH reports cases statewide now over 4,000

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department on Sunday announced two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 13 cases.

The new cases include a man in his 70s and a woman in her 30s.  Both are self-isolating at home, according to the MCHD.  Data shows that around 170 people have been tested in McLean County, 120 tests have been negative, and 40 test results are still pending.  There has been one death in the county.

Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Public Health on Sunday announced 1,105 new cases, bringing the state total to 4,596.  IDPH reported 18 more deaths, now 65 total.

Bond, Knox, Menard, and Montgomery counties are now reporting cases.  Cases by county can be found here.
