“He closed off the travel of people from China and Europe to the United States, good move. He said we need a cash payment to individuals, good move. I support all of those things,” said Sen. Dick Durbin as he spoke to WJBC’s Scott Miller.
The senator says he hopes President Trump continues to listen to health experts moving forward, in particular Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx.
Meanwhile, Durbin, 75, says he feels healthy and is practicing social distancing at his home in Springfield.
