BLOOMINGTON – The COVID-19 drive-thru testing site in Bloomington will close this week, according to the McLean County Emergency Management Agency.

In a Facebook post Monday, the agency said after Thursday the site located at the McLean County Fairgrounds will close. No other reason was given.

The site opened at the end of March. It can administer 250 tests per day, but according to local officials, the site has never hit that mark.

The McLean County EMA said 72 people were tested on Sunday.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
