Chuck’s Harley-Davidson to close next month

BLOOMINGTON – A local Harley-Davidson dealership will close its doors next month after almost 50 years in the community.

Chuck’s Harley-Davidson will officially close July 3, according to a Facebook post. The doors are closing because Harley-Davidson decided to eliminate the Bloomington franchise from its group of dealers.

The dealership, located at 2027 Ireland Grove Road, opened in 1971.

Chuck’s held a retirement party over the weekend for Winnie, Lois, and the entire staff.
