WASHINGTON – Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress was in Washington D.C. on Monday to participate in a roundtable discussion with President Trump and other agencies around the country.
During the talk, Childress shared Livingston County’s ideology for law enforcement: being a friend of the community, supporting the community, and working with the community.
“Mr. President we are happy to sit down with you and to try and do everything we can to make this nation better by keeping the community safe,” said Childress.
Childress, who is a Republican, was the only representative from Illinois to attend the roundtable.
