COLLINSVILLE– Roads – you can’t live without ‘em.

“Our roads and our bridges deliver Illinoisans to work and home again, to school, to the pharmacy, to the doctor’s office,” said Gov. JB Pritzker in Collinsville Tuesday. “These challenging times have not weakened us; they are making us stronger. They are reinforcing the greatness of Illinoisans; the compassion, determination, and resolve that’s part of our history.”

The governor’s Rebuild Illinois construction program includes the six-year, $21.3 billion IDOT construction plan announced Tuesday. It includes building or rebuilding more than 3300 miles of roads and 8 million square feet of bridge deck.
