Motorcycle accident in Carlock kills 47-year-old woman

CARLOCK – One person is dead after a motorcycle accident Tuesday night in Carlock, according to McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder.

Tonya Rohrs, 47, of Normal was pronounced dead around 7 p.m. at Carle BroMenn Emergency Room. Yoder said preliminary autopsy results indicate Rohrs died from head injuries.

Authorities said the accident happened at the intersection of 1100 East and 1900 North. Rohrs was riding as a passenger when the motorcycle lost control, according to police. The driver of the motorcycle suffered non-life threatening injuries.

This incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and McLean County Sheriff’s Department.
