BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Monday reported two more coronavirus-related deaths and 404 new cases since December 23.
A woman and man in their 80s who lived in long-term care facilities died, according to McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight. There have been 88 lives lost in the county.
There are 29 McLean County residents hospitalized due to COVID and 1,018 are isolating at home. McLean County hospitals are reporting 96% of ICU beds in use, 89% of total beds in use, and 78 individuals hospitalized for COVID-19.
The county’s rolling positivity rate held steady at 7.2%. 342 additional people were released from isolation, now 10,136 have recovered.
