HSHM getting set for ‘Night In A Car’

BLOOMINGTON – A local organization is gearing up for its annual event that shines a spotlight on the hidden aspect of homelessness.

“Night In A Car” is hosted by Home Sweet Home Ministries. CEO Mary Ann Pullin told WJBC’s Marc Strauss there is still time for people to get involved.

“On our website there are pictures and descriptions of the all the teams we already have signed up. You can also see home much money has already been raised.”

The goal this year is to raise $100,000 and the money helps provide food and shelter for local residents. As of Monday, the organization has raised more than 80% of its goal.
