Rolling positivity rate holds steady; 75 new COVID cases in McLean County

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department reported 75 new cases of coronavirus since Friday, bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 14,549.

There are 16 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID and 199 are in home isolation. McLean County hospitals are reporting 77% of ICU beds and 86% of totals beds in use.

The county’s rolling positivity rate held steady at 2.3%. 85 additional people were released from isolation, now 14,164 have recovered.

COVID-19 Vaccine

Almost 35,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered in McLean County. Over 2.7 million vaccines have been administered in Illinois.

The IDPH has created a dashboard on its website to track vaccine delivered and administered in the state.
