BLOOMINGTON – McLean County health officials report 29 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, increasing the county total of confirmed cases to 14,924.
Health officials report 23 people are hospitalized due to COVID, with 11 o them county residents. Officials also say 73% of ICU beds in use, while 88% of total beds are in use.
Marianne Manko, the public affairs coordinator for the health department, reports 215 people are in home isolation.
The county’s rolling positivity rate held steady at 2.8%, which is above the statewide rate of 2.3%.
There have been 175 COVID-related deaths reported in the county.
Officials report 14,511 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
On the vaccine front, officials report 52,150 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the county.
