BLOOMINGTON – Heavy rain and severe thunderstorms dumped between four and seven inches of rain in parts of McLean County Friday night.
Streets were flooded across Bloomington-Normal and rural parts of the county. The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a flood warning for McLean, northern DeWitt, northern Logan, southeastern Tazewell, and northeastern Piatt counties until 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Additional rainfall amounts up to one inch are possible in these areas.

Listeners reported street flooding throughout the Twin-Cities. This was Fairway Drive in Bloomington.
In rural Danvers, ditches were full and water is on the road in places.

Highest rain amounts through the weekend will fall across portions of the I-55 and I-57 corridors. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday morning.
