Bloomington Rotary names new President

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Rotary Club has a new club President.  

The club, which currently has 71 members, announced Van Miller of Bloomington would serve as the club’s next President.  

Miller, who replaces past President Pete Falstad of Bloomington, is the Director of Annual Giving for Illinois State University.  

Miller, who joined the club in 2011, will hold the office of President from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.  

The club provides avenues of service, including disease prevention, maternal and child health, literacy and education, and clean water and sanitation.  

The club meets weekly on Thursdays at noon at Second Presbyterian Church, located at 404 N. Prairie Street in Bloomington.
