Bloomington-Normal Avanti’s dining rooms closed indefinitely

BLOOMINGTON – Avanti’s Italian Restaurant has decided to close both of its dining rooms in Bloomington-Normal starting Monday, Aug. 16.

Avanti’s has two locations in the Twin-Cities, one in Bloomington at 3302 E. Empire Street, and in Normal at 407 S. Main Street.

Avanti’s says carry out, curbside pick up, delivery, banquet and catering will remain available.

The restaurant also announced that the Bloomington-Normal locations will be closed on Sundays indefinitely starting Aug. 22.

“We continue to experience staffing shortages and realize this will be an inconvenience to our loyal customers,” according to a Facebook post. “Our goal is to continue offering the same quality product and services our customers have come to expect.”
