Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for eight games

ST LOUIS –  After completing a perfect 6-0 road trip, the Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for eight games over a nine-day stretch starting with a three-games versus the NL Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers (August 17-19), followed by a three-game weekend series with the Pittsburgh Pirates (August 20-22) and concludes with a two-game Interleague matchup against the Detroit Tigers (August 24-25).  Fans can view a full list of homestand highlights at cardinals.com/homestand.

Tuesday, August 17 — Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers (6:45 PM)

  • The Players Alliance Gear For Good Tour: Before today’s game, The Players Alliance will host 15 Cardinals Care Redbird Rookies athletes for a meet and greet with a current player, followed by a Q&A session with Cardinals Front Office executives. The Players Alliance will also present each athlete with a bag full of baseball equipment.
  • Frontline Fans: The Frontline Fans program provides complimentary tickets for each Monday-Thursday home game to frontline and essential workers whose roles were crucial in supporting society during health-related shutdowns.  Today, personnel from the St. Louis Fire Department will be recognized for their heroic efforts.
  • Cardinals Care Auctions: Autographed items from Cardinals players, coaches and alumni can be bid on by fans in the ballpark and at home via cardinals.com/ccauctions.  The items will be on display at Gate 1, Gate 3, and inside the Cardinals Club, UMB Champions Club and Redbird Club. The auction will run today from 9:00 AM—9:00 PM.
