DWIGHT – A Livingston County man is facing charges after investigators say he allegedly stabbed two other people.

On Thursday, Dwight Police responded to the 100 block of W. Waupanise St., around 6 p.m.

Once on the scene, police located a female with a stab wound to her arm and a male with a stab wound to his stomach and chest.

Police say Cory Clark, 35, of Dwight, ran out of the house to seek help, but police say Clark was the person who allegedly stabbed the male victim during a domestic dispute.

According to a news release, Clark is facing an aggravated battery charge with other charges pending.

Officials did not disclose the condition of the stab victims.

Dwight police were assisted by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Gardner Fire, Illinois State Police Crime Unit, DCFS, and Zone 5 investigators.
