Tailgate N’ Tallboys coming to Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – Tailgate N’ Tallboys is moving to the Interstate Center in Bloomington next summer.

USA Concerts on Friday announced the country music festival will be June 16-18, 2022.

“USA Concerts is excited for the move which opens up the festival grounds for onsite camping, a first-time new look for the festival, and a larger footprint,” according to a news release.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 11 at TailgateNTallboys.com. Festival artist announcements will start on October 18.

Tailgate N’ Tallboys has been Central Illinois’ top country music festival for the past five years. Past performers have included Florida-Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Nelly, Cody Jinks, Jake Owen, Kid Rock, and Willie Nelson.

In 2018, the Tailgate N’ Tallboys concert series topped over 40,000 tickets sold. The Peoria Area Conventions Center said the concert series brought in an estimated revenue of $5.1 million into the local economy.
