Fourth person arrested in Mackinaw homicide; cause of death withheld

TAZEWELL COUNTY – Sheriff Jeff Lower said another person has been arrested in a Friday night shooting at a home in rural Mackinaw that left one woman dead and a man in critical condition.

The Tazewell County Sheriff said Monday that the fourth person is a juvenile. They were arrested late Saturday on a first-degree murder charge.

Of the four people now accused in the deadly shooting, two are juveniles.

Sage Raeuber, 19, and Nathaniel Maloney, 18, have also been charged with first degree murder.

The four are accused of the murder of Rebecca Bolin, age 51, and the shooting of Douglas Bolin, age 52, at a home on American Legion Road in Mackinaw.

All four suspects will be arraigned on Tuesday, October 26, according to the sheriff.

Also Monday, Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley announced that an autopsy on Rebecca Bolin was done on Sunday.

Hanley said in a release, “Due to the ongoing investigation, the cause of death is being withheld at this time.”

Her death is still being investigated as a homicide, according to the release.
