A motorcycle crash in Tazewell County claims the life of an East Peoria man

TAZEWELL COUNTY – The Tazewell County Coroner’s Office has identified a person involved in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.

According to a news release, Coroner Charles Hanley responded to Meadow Ave. and Shady Knolls Drive in East Peoria on Saturday.

John Miller, 53, of East Peoria, died at the crash scene when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle.

Autopsy results indicated Miller died from blunt force trauma. Toxicology results are still pending.

The case remains under investigation by Illinois State Police, East Peoria Police, and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
