BLOOMINGTON – A person died in a car crash on Interstate 55 near milepost 154 in McLean County Tuesday evening.
According to a news release, the victim’s vehicle crashed with a truck-tractor semi-trail around 10:00 p.m.
Illinois State Police District 6 troopers closed down I-55 for an investigation and reopened the Interstate around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
