Tazewell County Coroner identifies victim of Christmas morning crash

TAZEWELL COUNTY – The Tazewell County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a single-vehicle accident on Christmas morning.

Ella McGlothlin, 37, was pronounced dead at U.S. Route 150 and County Line Road in rural Deer Creek.

Preliminary autopsy findings show multiple blunt force injuries caused the death during the crash.

Police reports indicate McGlothlin crashed around 4:00 a.m. Christmas morning and no other vehicles were involved.

Toxicology results are pending.

The case remains under investigation by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
