CHICAGO – Gov. JB Pritzker says he’s asking the Illinois Attorney General to investigate shady COVID-19 testing sites.
There have been reports of pop-up testing locations, that in some cases aren’t even giving people their results says the governor.
“Some of them may be fly-by-night pop-up testing where all they are doing is taking the swabs and putting it in the reagent and then not taking responisbility for how long it takes to get that test back from a lab that they may not have a very strong relationship with,” said the governor.
Pritzker says this is an enormous problem and that he’s referred the matter to the attorney general’s office.
