Former Bloomington piano teacher sentenced for child porn and sexual assault

BLOOMINGTON – A Former McLean County piano teacher was handed down a 450-year prison sentence in a McLean County courtroom on Friday.

Last year, Judge Casey Costigan convicted Aaron Parlier, 40, of Pekin, of 10 counts of child pornography and 10 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a minor.

The trial was the first of many for Parlier, who is facing 38 counts against him.

Friday’s sentencing is for counts 19-38 against him.

Parlier is set to stand trial next month in trial two of six against him.
