BLOOMINGTON – The victim from Monday night’s homicide in Bloomington has been identified by McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate Timothy Q. Manns, 29, of Bloomington died from a gunshot wound, according to a news release. Toxicology testing is pending.
Bloomington Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street.
Police say there have been no arrests and the circumstances around the shooting are still under investigation. The incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and BPD.

Meanwhile, Katie Leary, Manns’ cousin, started a GoFundMe page to help the family with funeral expenses.
“Senseless acts of violence can erase your loved one from this world in a split second…just like it did to my family,” Leary wrote on the GoFundMe she created. “Tragedy struck our family on January 24th, devastating my loved ones and me. Our beloved Timmy lost his life that night, forever changing the lives of those that love and adore him. This senseless act of violence leaves two beautiful children without a father, a mother without her baby boy, a father without his son, siblings without their little brother.”
